books are bought.
It's time for class
there are lessons to be taught

making deadlines
at the speed of sound
sharpening pencils,
my pen's out of ink!
Will this be on the exam?

can I get extra credit?
I forgot my homework
I did every problem
come on! I'm never late on my work!
Bell rings
get the hell out of here
hop in the car
Let's get far away from here
Do it all over
tomorrow's another day
I'm thankful, just whiney
But, what can I say?
I've done this for a while
and the work will pay off, I'll see
besides, how will I get a good job
without that degree?
